The Young Climate Fellowship Programme 2025 became available through a partnership between the Pakistan Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination and UNICEF. Highly educated young adults receive empowerment through this sponsorship to join the national climate resilience initiatives.

The Young Climate Fellowship (YCF) provides young professionals with the chance to work directly with the Ministry on major climate initiatives. Participants will gain hands-on experience, contribute to real-time policy and sustainability projects, and develop in-depth knowledge of climate-related government functions.

Age limit: 20 to 32 years

Must possess Ph.D., Master’s, or Professional Degree (16+ years of education)
Degrees must be from a recognized foreign/local institute
Relevant professional experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Applicants must not be enrolled in any youth program currently
Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
